A plumbing inspectors’ seminar tomorrow will examine regulatory issues in the industry, improved customer service and possible future reforms.
The Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) Plumbing Inspectors Seminar 2015 will feature information sessions and a Q&A forum.
QBCC Commissioner, Steve Griffin, said the seminar provided a professional forum for the plumbing inspectorate to meet with key stakeholders to examine technical standards and consistent, high-quality customer service.
“The seminar will review the current legislative system and work to develop strategies for regulatory consistency to achieve the best outcomes for the industry and the community,” Mr Griffin said.
Invitees include representatives of Master Plumbers Association Queensland, Plumbers Union Queensland, and the Local Government Association of Queensland.
The seminar is being held from 9am-4.30pm tomorrow at South Leagues Club, West End.
