The QBCC apologises for the ongoing unavailability of the PAS (Notifiable Work) PADLS (plumbers and drainers licence system) and Pool Safety Register sites.
Unfortunately these sites must remain offline, as IT teams continue to work to rectify the issues affecting these systems.
We will provide an update about the system's availability on this website and social media accounts tomorrow.
The QBCC apologises that because of these issues, notifiable work forms are currently unable to be lodged electronically, and that manually lodged forms can be received but are also currently unable to be processed. The issuing of Pool Safety Certificates will not be possible until further notice.
We understand that this could affect matters such as property settlements. If this is the case, the QBCC encourages you to seek advice from your legal representative or real estate agent regarding possible solutions to this issue. All applications for Pool Safety Inspector licences and renewals will be processed when the system is available.
The QBCC has also been hard at work in the background developing a new system which will be housed on a completely different, stable platform.
This is scheduled to be available to licensees by the end of this financial year. The new system has been developed in consultation with all areas of the industry (licensees, local governments, peak bodies and administrators) to ensure it delivers a better system
The QBCC will be releasing more information about the new system soon.
