Notifiable Work (Form 4/4A) submissions moving to myQBCC
myQBCC - your new pipeline for submitting Notifiable Work (Form 4/4A) forms online
From 26 April 2017 you'll have a new way to submit your Notifiable Work (Form 4 and 4A). This more reliable and stable service will be accessed through myQBCC, our online customer portal.
Some key improvements include:
- enhanced address search options to provide accurate location details
- a new 'Guided View' of the Notifiable Work schedule, making it easier to choose the correct category of work
- the ability to provide more details about the work you've performed (if you wish to)
- being able to nominate a representative to submit Form 4/4As on your behalf through their own myQBCC account
- the ability to save credit card details securely and pay for multiple Form 4s at once
What do I need to do to get ready for this change?
If you have a current myQBCC account - you will automatically be able to start submitting your Notifiable Work online when the new solution is available.
If you don't have a myQBCC account - you can register now in readiness to submit your forms online.
How do I use myQBCC to submit my Notifiable Work?
We've created some resources to help you get started. Here is a brief video (6:51 minutes) that gives you an overview of how the system works.
We've also created a User Guide (PDF) that you can view online or print off and keep handy. This provides a comprehensive overview of the process and how the system works, including myQBCC account creation, nominating a representative to act on your behalf, and creating, amending and cancelling Notifiable Work submissions.

Changes to how you pay for Notifiable Work (Form 4/4A)
We've developed an improved payment system for Notifiable Work (Form 4/4A) that will offer you a more streamlined service and secure payment processing.
You can pay for single or multiple Notifiable Work (Form 4s) within the one transaction, without using a Top-Up account. If you currently hold a top-up account, we will provide a refund of the balance we are holding for you. Please send us a Refund Request Form - Top-Up Account Closure (PDF) to arrange your refund.

'Guided view' takes the guesswork out of selecting the right Categories of Work
Sometimes it can be hard to know exactly which categories of work to select when submitting your Notifiable Work (Form 4/4A). Our new solution offers you a 'Guided View' to step you through the process. Select the type of work you've completed from the supplied list and the system will offer you a selection of possible categories to choose from. You can select as many as you need to cover all the work completed in the one submission. If you're confident you know which categories you need to select, you can choose to use the 'Data Entry View' instead.
We've also added optional additional information fields where you can enter details such as product information, serial numbers and location of work. For more details about these, and other, improvements, see our Blog.
Uploading attachments to your Notifiable Work (Form 4/4A) submissions
We've improved the process for adding attachments when submitting Notifiable Work (Form 4/4A), including providing more options for identifying the items you're uploading. You also won't forget to provide mandatory attachments - an As Constructed diagram when work was completed under categories 4 and 15 - as the system won't let you submit without them.

Amending and cancelling Notifiable Work (Form 4/4A) submissions
During our industry consultation process you told us that one of your biggest frustrations with the old system was that you couldn't easily amend or correct a Notifiable Work (Form 4/4A) submission once it had been completed. Now, after submission, you'll be able to go into the system and amend:
- the property address
- any optional additional address details you entered
- optional 'My Reference' details you entered
- the categories of work you selected
- the attachments you added.

If the information you need to correct is something other than those items listed above, you'll now be able to request a cancellation and refund by filling out a Refund Request Form - Notifiable Work Cancellation (PDF) and returning it:
- by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or
- by post to GPO Box 5099, Brisbane Qld 4001
