Making a privacy complaint
If you believe there has been a breach of your personal information involving QBCC you may lodge a privacy complaint.
The complaint must be completed within twelve (12) months of the alleged breach occurring or coming to your attention.
Lodging your complaint
Include a completed copy of
- the QBCC Privacy Complaint Form (PDF); or
- a complaint in writing
- your identification
If someone (including a legal representative) is acting on your behalf or as your agent, they must also provide:
- evidence that they have authority to act on your behalf, and
- copy of their identification
How long will it take?
Allow up to 45 business days from the date that we receive your application.
I’m not happy with the decision
If you are not happy with the decision, you may lodge a privacy complaint with the Office of the Information Commissioner. You must ensure the complaint is lodged at least 45 business days from the date you submitted your privacy complaint with QBCC.
